Fervenulin is a bacterial metabolite originally isolated fromStreptomycesthat has nematocidal activity.^1,2It inhibits egg hatching of the root-knot nematodeM. incognita(MIC = 30 µg/ml), as well as induces mortality inM. incognitasecond-stage juveniles when used at a concentration of 250 µg/ml.²
