背景信息：
SORL1 又名 SorLA，是一种 250 kDa 的 I 型膜蛋白，见于中枢和周围神经系统的神经元中 (1)。SORL1 与酵母转运蛋白 Vps10p 有关 (2)。它的确切功能尚不清楚，因为它在高尔基体和内溶酶体之间穿梭，鉴于结构与 Vps10p 相似，有人指出 SORL1 在细胞运输中起作用 (3)。有趣的是，有研究显示在阿尔茨海默病患者的脑中，SORL1 表达减少 (4)，而研究曾经证实，SORL1 是一种神经分选受体，它结合 APP 并调节其运输和蛋白裂解的处理，从而调节 β 淀粉样肽的形成 (5)。
