背景信息：

谷氨酰-脯氨酰-tRNA 合成酶 (EPRS) 是氨酰基-tRNA 连接酶家族中的一种双功能酶，可将同源氨基酸连接到相应的 tRNA 上，从而进行蛋白翻译 (1,2)。EPRS 通常位于 tRNA 多合成酶复合体 (MSC)，tRNA MSC 可在蛋白合成期间促进将氨酰化 tRNA 运输到核糖体 (3,4)。在单核细胞中，EPRS 会在干扰素 (IFN) γ 激活时被磷酸化，并被从 MSC 中释放出来，形成所谓的 IFN- γ 激活的翻译抑制因子 (GAIT) 复合体，该复合体还包含 NS1 相关蛋白 (NSAP1)、核糖体蛋白 L13a 和甘油醛-3-磷酸脱氢酶 (GAPDH)。GAIT 复合体通过 3 非翻译区 (UTR) 中的 EPRS 来结合确定的 RNA 元件，从而抑制靶标转录物的翻译，包括血管内皮生长因子 (VEGF) A、血浆铜蓝蛋白和一些细胞因子及其受体。因此，EPRS 在炎症调节中发挥重要作用 (5-9)。
