背景信息：

ATF-4 是激活转录因子/ cAMP 反应元件结合蛋白家族的一员，在 PERK 和 eIF2α 内质网应激反应通路中发挥作用 (1-3)。内质网应激会抑制多数 mRNA 的翻译，但也选择性地刺激某些 mRNA（如 ATF-4）的翻译 (2)。ATF-4 的诱导表达会增加基因表达，这对于从内质网应激状态中恢复正常是非常重要的 (4)。
