生物活性

Foxy-5, aWNT5Aagonist, is a mimicking peptide of WNT5A which is a non-canonical member of theWntfamily. Foxy-5 triggers cytosolic free calcium signaling without affectingβ-cateninactivation and it impairs the migration and invasion of epithelialcancercells. Foxy-5 effectively reduces the metastatic spread of WNT5A-low prostatecancercells in an orthotopic mouse model^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4].
